Waterfront Crew Member

We are looking for energetic, responsible, and reliable individuals to join our Waterfront Crew Member at Gordon Bay on Lake Muskoka. This is a seasonal full-time or part-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, on the water, and in a fast-paced marina environment.

The season runs from late April/early May through Labour Day, with potential for additional work into the fall for the right candidate. Weekend and holiday availability will be required during peak summer months.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet, communicate, and assist customers with all aspects of their marina experience
  • Fuel boats and maintain accurate fuel sales records and daily fuel reads
  • Provide safety orientations and instruction for boat rentals, including embarking, inspections, and returns
  • Assist with interior and exterior boat cleaning and detailing
  • Perform dock-to-dock boat deliveries as required
  • Operate point-of-sale systems for waterfront retail, fuel, and rentals
  • Assist with retail sales and general customer service
  • Monitor and help maintain the security of customer boats in slips and on-site
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the waterfront, docks, and sales yard
  • Assist with light groundskeeping, landscaping, and general site maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Valid Ontario Boating Licence (required)
  • Previous marina or boating experience (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Physical ability to kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed

  • Day shifts (8–9 hours)
  • Monday to Friday, with weekends and overtime as needed
  • Pay: Based on experience
  • Work Location: In person at 1048 Cedar Beach Rd, Bracebridge Ontario, P1L 1W8
  • Language: English (preferred)
